The next Fiddler's Green Concert is scheduled for Friday, February 17th at the Garden Hills Community Center located at 307 Pinetree Drive in Buckhead (behind the swimming pool at Rumson and Pinetree just north of East Wesley). Map . This show features  MIKE RAYBURN The performance is scheduled for 8:00 pm.  Donation $18 general admission, $16 AAFFM members.

Featured Performer -- Mike Rayburn

Mike Rayburn-- Billed as the world's funniest guitar virtuoso, Mike is one of the most entertaining shows we offer, due to his diverse array of very polished talent.  First, he's really funny - the stories behind (and sometimes described in) many of his songs are hilarious.  And he does outrageous takes on popular songs (ZZ Top does Dan Fogelberg, etc.)  Second, he's a pretty darn good singer-songwriter.  His originals are well-crafted, and he's got a smooth, pleasant voice.  Third, Mike's an extraordinary guitarist.  You will be amazed!  Classically trained with a master's, Rayburn has transferred his skills to the steel six string guitar (notably his arrangement of Pachelbel's Canon).  His shows include numerous 'tap' style pieces, where both hands are up on the neck of the instrument, creating an extraordinary sound not unlike that of the late Michael Hedges.  Rayburn has performed throughout the U.S., including Carnegie Hall.

Special guest, The Brilliant Inventions-- Up first is a local young duo taking the acoustic scene by storm.  Solo performing songwriters Eliot Bronson and Josh Lamkin have teamed up and taken off.  They won the Eddie's Attic open mic shootout, subsequently opened for both Martin Sexton and Shawn Mullins at Variety Playhouse, and now are a sought-after feature act.  Their performances feature high energy, great harmonies over dual acoustic guitars, and original songs.  Their lyrics often offer a heavy dose of wry humor sure to put a smile on the faces of the audience..
